Educational Qualifications

 

Dr. Gladson was brought up in Dalton, Georgia.  He is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy and the Medical College of Georgia. He did his psychiatry training at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.


While a student, he received numerous academic honors, including election to the Rho Chi Pharmaceutical Honor Society and to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.  As a psychiatry resident, he was involved in research as well as patient care, and obtained specialization in both general and geriatric psychiatry.

Objective

    

Most of Dr. Gladson's professional life has been spent in private practice in Georgia and in the Idaho/Washington State area. He has served on several hospital staffs and committees in the metropolitan Atlanta area as well as in Idaho. 

    

Dr. Gladson has been involved as either the principal or co-investigator in over 40 Phase III and IV studies of psychotropic medications. His areas of interest in psychiatry have included severe mood disorders and disorders of cognitive impairment.



 

Work Experience

 

Dr. Gladson has served on the clinical faculty of the University of Georgia, the Medical College of Georgia, Emory University, and the University of Idaho.  He also served as a guest lecturer at Washington State University.


At the present time Dr. Gladson limits his practice to general outpatient psychiatry.  He has offices in Alpharetta and in Blue Ridge, Georgia, where he sees patients of all ages.
